Gail's Fiction
Gail Christison is one of my favorite writers. Her portrayals of the various characters is wonderful. She brings a depth to them that makes the reader love them more. Her Buffy/Giles fanfiction is awesome! Gail also has the dubious honor of writing a Giles/Cordelia fic that didn't make me go Eeewww!!! It actually made me rethink my opinion that this pairing was a crime against nature. ;-)

*** If We're Together Rated R Trish's challenge with some elements incorporated which may be future spoilery but since I'm not telling you which ones, you won't be spoiled, right? ;-) Basically I moved the challenge slightly into the future, past ep 20... It's a mixture of pure fiction and spoilers but unless you are already spoiled you won't know which is and which ain't. So you should still be able to read the story, right? :-)
*** Lost Rated PG-13 Gail's Valentine's Day 2003 offering... Giles and Buffy a lost in a primitive environment in a dimensional rip, for what is a couple of weeks for them. Survival brings with it a lot of lessons and when they arrive back not long before Valentine's Day Buffy has to make some choices.
*** Once Upon a Watcher Rated PG A little of this, a little of that. An experiment with a fairy tale becomes my Christmas fic this year. Buffy is missing Giles terribly and goes to England to search for him. She's reunited with her father who unfortunately is in trouble...
*** The Only Rated NC-17 Giles goes missing. Buffy has to find him.
*** Never Leave Me Rated NC-17 The timeline is kind of Jossed now, but Giles is back and Buffy remembers his birthday at last and organises something equine for them to do. In due course revelations and romance ensue. :-)
*** Blue Eyes Rated PG-14 Takes up a few days after 'Where the Wild Things Are' left off. Willow loses her patience with Buffy and her attitude toward Giles...
*** Forever Rated NC-17 Takes place after 'Restless' Buffy's having nightmares, but it's more than that...
*** The Hero Rated PG-13 Buffy runs into some trouble on patrol and guess who comes to her rescue? SIGH!
*** Tomorrow Rated PG-13 Buffy and Giles have it out after the 'Yoko Factor'.

The Forever series
*** Once and Forever Rated NC-17 Giles' birthday doesn't quite turn out the way he expects it to.
*** Beyond Forever Rated NC-17 A few weeks after Once and Forever, which is set after Who Are You. Obviously we've gone off into our own version of last season now :-) Buffy intends to move in with Giles, and goes to see her mother to talk to her about the decision. Later Giles is critically injured on patrol with her, by a mysterious new vampire whom Buffy kills unexpectly easily. What unfolds is the question of Giles' survival and future, as well as Buffy's, revelations about the mystery vampiress, vengeance, the invocation of a supernatural force against the slayer and general mayhem before the end of the story.
